Positive: The room was lovely with a great balcony. The pool and hot tub were also amazing! It was a great location close to the sea front

Negative: Construction going on. Not the properties fault but a lot of road works were happening.

Positive: The bed was comfy, however we only has one very flat pillow each, with no extras in the cupboard. The location was good, only 5 mins to the beach and a 10 minute drive to Burleigh Heads

Negative: We were told that there were road works which finish in the late evening, We thought this would be ok, however the road works did not finish until 2:30am on Saturday morning. On check in, there was no conversation about this, no offer of moving us to a quieter room, perhaps on the beach side, or even offering some form of compensation. Neither of us slept on the first night.

Summary: Should have done some further research to find a better room.

Positive: It was close to shops including good Chinese restaurant next door. Nearby walks along the beach front, lovely park areas with picnic facilities, paths and walkways to observe sea views. The bed was comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the view of the garden outside our room.

Negative: The shower over the bath could be unsafe, especially for elderly people. Whilst the microwave and fridge were conveniently inside a cupboard, a reference to their location in the room notes, or a little sign, would be helpful.

Summary: Despite major road works, we had a very pleasant stay, and enjoyed exploring this area while there.

Negative: Bed mattress was awful, had to ask for a mattress topper which manager gave me to improve . My room looked over rd works and was noisy at times no fault of property but would book beach side only next time.
